Update To BJJ Gi Manufactures Available To Team AS Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
With the fantastic response to the Tatami Fightwear BJJ Gis, I have managed to secure further deals with Evolution, Gameness and Storm t make sure that as members of AS Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Edmonton and Hertfordshire) you have the biggest possible choices of Gis.
Due to the high number of products now available to you, I have created a website for you to view them and order. PLEASE NOTE - if you want to order a Gi, let me know and I will send you the members discount code. The current prices on the website is for non members and the general public (although the prices are still discounted from the RRP and all BJJ Gis come with free delivery to the UK).

This Week - BJJ Training & Massage/Injury Prevention Seminar
Morning all, hope you all had a fun weekend.
We have a jam packed week of BJJ and seminars this week so I thought I would put this overview together for you. Please click on the links to get the full details.
Saturday between 10am and midday we are running a 2 hour massage and injury prevention seminar. This is a hands on seminar where we will be learning and experiencing using pressure points to relax muscle and loads more (click for full Jiu Jitsu injury seminar agenda and details) , so please wear a gi with a t-shirt/rash guard. Everyone is welcome, Edmonton and Hoddesdon Monthly members can attend for free.
If you haven't already, please can you let me now if you are attending - the massage people need to know numbers.
Monday 7:45pm start: We will be working on three things, jump guard takedowns, maintaining your guard and I will be introducing the Conveyor Belt drill....
Thursday 7:30pm start: Guard pass night.
Saturday 8.30am BJJ Kettle Bells, 9am to 10am Beginners/Open Mat, and 10am Massage/Injury Prevention Seminar.

English Open Update Competitors & Spectators Please Read.
The guys running the English Open released this information today:
"Spectators tickets are sold out for Saturday, please don't show up at the comp if you don't have a competitors entry or spectator ticket or coaches pass. You won't get in.
Timetables will be up in the next couple of days, please stop asking when your division will start.
We will be running a repechage.
If you don't make weight then you won't be able to fight.
If you are overweight then move brackets now, no sob stories on the day.
We will try to run absolute divisions but this will depend on the timetable running according to plan."
