BJJ Herts - This week only Wrestling Tonight , Gi BJJ Thursday

Ian can't make Thursday this week, so he will be teaching wrestling tonight and then we will have a normall Gi BJJ class on Thursday,

For those that normally can't make the Thursday class but want to wrestle come tonight, Chris Rangers recent No Gi gold was a direct result of him attending EVERY wrestling class since we started them in August - there are no short cuts in this game.

Chris Ranger caused lots of DANGER and wins GOLD!!!!

Big congrats to Chris on winning the Gold Medal at the Go to the Ground No Go competition on Sunday. Chris fought up a weight at 93kg and won all three of his fights.

Big thanks to Stu for cornering him on the day and all the BJJ Herts people as you are only ever as good as your training partners.

Well done again Chris, this result was extra special for me as it was BJJ Herts first Gold medal in competition.

Arlans also added that this results was "Fantastic".

PS I spoke to Chris yesterday and he told me that he now has "fruit to go in his bowl".....

I am away this weekend so Stu is opening up BJJ Hertfordshire from 8.30am to 10.30am for an open mat.

Also, Chris "lots of Danger" Ranger is competing in a no gi competition this weekend - good luck to him.

Tonight's Class & A Request From Enzo

Tonights Class

Training tonight is cancelled, in previous years the roads around the hall have become pretty dnagerous as the snow turns to ice when the temperature drops at night.

Request from Enzo

By Thursday, hopefully the snow should have gone, and I would like as many of you at training as possible as Arlans is coming and I would like to take some team photos. Even if you are currently injured, or have not been training in a while please come down as it would be nice to have you all in the photo.

It would also be great to have any of the Edmonton boys that train with us also come for the photo.
