For those that went to the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Seminar in Essex
Do you remember the purple belt with the lock down that made you want to cry? He just got his brown belt (see that last promotion on the video) . From what Eddie bravo says, he seems like a badass Jiu Jitsu player.

Please can you all welcome BJJ Blue Belt Craig Welsch to the team.
Craig runs the Kapap Acedemy (in Sheffield), and offers in addition to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Self Defence, Close Protection, Street Defence, Personal Protection, Kickboxing and Sport Kickboxing, Body Conditioning, Fitness, Submission Grappling, Boxing, and a combination of all listed in a Mixed MMA form.
Craig is a very experienced martial artist and in addition to his BJJ Blue Belt he also holds the following belts/grade:
KAPAP Level Two® Instructor (with a license to teach) in KAPAP/Lotar – Martial Arts and CQB and was trained by Kapapacademy.
Affiliates of Richard Dimitri's Senshido system
2nd Degree Black Belt in Kempo Ju Jitsu.

This now takes the number of academies under Arlans to 4:

Tonight's BJJ Class - Counter to the Screen Pass & Spider Guard Counter
Arlans taught some awesome BJJ techniques last night and tonight we will be going over them.
We will initially go over the screen guard pass and the counter/escape from a spider guard and then progress to the counter for each move. The Screen Guard Pass counter is something I have never seen before and I was blown away by how simple but effective it was.
